Subject: icqs

Been receiving your icq but having a very hard time sending; it just sits there not sending while your messages come in.

1. Let's try some alternate download methods before we give up on the DB; it's important for other reasons, and the pkgs won't get there any quicker sent this evening than sent tomorrow morning.

2. If y'all are feeling sick, rest seems like a good idea. (I was pretty conked out myself for most of Sunday, and I've had this deep chest cough for about a month.) There's no way we can meet everyone's needs on this ridiculous schedule (which itself was largely the result of the ice storm and computer problems), so all we can do is the best we can. Heroic measures are not necessary. This just proves we can't be a rapid-fulfillment house with stuff we don't have in stock.

I think that's the gist of it. Will send download instructions once I've worked something out -- but feel free to take a nap or something now & hopefully you'll feel better when your regular day starts (around midnight, isn't it?).

peace,

N.
