If I'm understanding this correctly, I would only need to send them $112 to meet their request. I will balance the books over the weekend and make sure that won't cause trouble, and send the check on Monday.

Sounds like that to me, and another $112 when they ship.

On Monday, could you call them and (1) let them know we are sending the check and (2) find out what the delivery options are? Is the default plan to send the pieces to San Antonio and then drop-ship via relatively inexpensive means? Do we have the option of drop-shipping from Mexico if a customer wants their piece soonest, and what kinds of numbers would we be looking at for the shipping cost in either case?

Rodger that.

1. I'm guessing that when a range of sizes is given like 16-18, it means the drum is available in 16, 17, and 18 -- i.e. one-inch increments.

2. However, when a range of prices is given for a range of sizes, the correlation is not as clear, e.g. "Ghana Professional Djembe" is available in 1-inch increments from 10 to 14 inches, but the prices are also listed as $150 - $350. So what is the price for each size? Should I assume 10=$150, 14=$350, and pro-rate the others? That would be a $50 increment per inch, i.e. 11=$200, 12=$250, 13=$300 -- which seems sensible. Should I apply that rule for all cases?

3. Same for the "Ghana Djun Djun", which is available in Kenkeni, Sangban, and Dundumba for $150-$350. What price each option? Should I assume $150=Kenkeni, $350=Dundumba, and split the difference ($250) for Sangban?

These equations are kewl w/me and it's a test and if he sees something incongruent w/his pricing schedule, he'll tell us.

Also:

Item #3 on the spreadsheet is "Mali Kangaba Djun Djun Dundumba". The closest photo I can find was labeled "Mali Dundumba", but that could also be the picture for "Mali Djun Djun Dundumba".

Go w/the pic that matches the line item and omit the others while I look them up.

Perhaps you could list which picture goes with each item in the spreadsheet? That would also help me figure out how to structure the options in the catalog.

Also, if you know anything about shipping costs or weight for these beasts, do tell...

Will have to check his site for estimated shipping. Until then just plug something in. My Djembe "Red" is about 15 #'s. Red is 14" head X 25" tall
