Nick,

We did not borrow any money. There was no charge on the card for USPS. I paid that in cash. The $23.82 plus $17.00 just covered what I put out in cash for USPS. The $23.82 was 3-16-02 (Saturday Night) and the $17.00 was from late yesterday (Monday afternoon). The money was all the same. We just did it the way we did because I had dropped Bubba & Adrian off at Blockbusters while I went to Krogers. I gave him $20.00, which would have been more than enough it weren't for a late charge that we were not aware we had... so it brought the total to $3.82 over what Bubba had on him. So he used the card and figured we'd just pay cash for the postage. If we were borrowing money... we WOULD have put it in the account that day unless we talked about it and knew there was extra money in there to cover it. Where I covered the postage with the money we'd set aside for Blockbusters plus the gas money... I put the gas on the card. This is the same thing Bubba wrote but with my first sentence being what it was... maybe you will be able to cipher it without any misunderstandings...As for the rest... I will leave that between you and Bubba...

yes, but: WHAT WAS THE CHARGE FOR THE USPS?? And what date(s) were the two transactions ($23.82 and $17)?

Have you already made a deposit to cover the amounts you borrowed? (The total of which I'm not entirely clear on from your description.) If not, please do; any little bit may help get us out of the hole faster...

Apparently the 2nd LB order was more than I imagined possible, $471.15, which will leave us about $120 in the hole (before NSFs) once all the charges have cleared. This wouldn't have been nearly as large and I probably could have covered it quickly except for $92.67 in check card usage which includes your two transactions plus an unknown $51.85 which I guess will have to wait until it is processed so I can see where it went.

I am now entering the list of orders you sent into the system to see if that leaves me any cards I can charge -- but if you did it the way I said to do it, there wouldn't be any. On the other hand, if you did it the way I said, you would also have sent me a list of items which came in but didn't get shipped (or, better yet, a list of orders we could fill) -- and I didn't see either that list or a mention of there not being any items left over. So I really have no idea where this leaves us. I kinda needed this information NOW so I could run the remaining cards through before leaving for GA, which I was planning to do this afternoon. The extra day's delay may mean that the pending items get debited before the credit card charges reach the system, and hence could cost us upward of $100 in NSFs. Thanks for following instructions :-P. Sorry if I sound harsh, but I did go to extra trouble to write them out and everything and I believe I gave you some kind of idea of how close to the edge we were on this order.

Please get back to me on what items are left to ship ASAP. Thanks.

N., here is the list of orders that shipped this morning.

the total was $41.59 and the break down goes like this...

the other night I was at Blockbuster and only had $20. The total was $23.? so I used the card and would use my 20 and add $5 to cover the 3 + any usage charges the card incurred and put the rest on the card at the post office which would have been 16.59. Lynne paid cash for the whole thing leaving the 16.59 on the card which she put in gas tonight ($17) so you'll see charges of $23.? and $17 which equals the $41+ which I have a receipt for.
