These are photos I took while walking to pick up the rental car for the final drive of our Asheville Weekend Triathlon.

  Elizabeth Tornquist's old house on Dogwood; someone has been remodeling it for the past month or more. They started by removing all the trees, as one does. :-/

  I wish I had taken some photos of it before they got started, but I had no idea they were going to do that.

  "Forest History Society" building(?) under construction; I had never heard of them before

  Duke Forest Place, home of the former Skate Inn (I have a story to tell about that)
