Car resurrection

Benz

  • get replacement parts:
    • hood opening cable: mechanic fixed this
    • motor for front right door
    • small plastic thingy for back left door
  • Try to re-assemble repaired motor: finally managed this, but it stops working when reassembled attached to window
  • Wiring for CD/radio
  • Air system, so we don't get blasted with heat in summer
  • Fixing smoking problem (engine mechanic needed, can't do this myself)

Nissan

  • Wiring for CD/radio

Carpentry

  • Storage shed (ultimately should save money, but huge up-front investment of time and substantial amount of money; is there another solution? Something must be done.)
  • Shelves (need to agree on which ones are important/acceptable)
    • hallway upstairs, to replace particle board shelves
    • bathroom downstairs, over doorway
    • more boards for mini-shelf in upstairs bathroom?
