I think this was the day the 5 GB hard drive on Gonzo Mark I, my main computer, started flaking out; I may have left it in some sort of diagnostic mode overnight, but then (if I have the date right) the power went out and stayed out for nearly a week (came back on 2002/12/09, although we didn't actually "move back in" to the house until 2002/12/10).
