About This was Maidi's last printer. It is kind of a shiny piece of crap. I hope it wasn't me that bought it, but it might have been. Under Windows, it kept locking up and needing to be power-cycled before it would start working again. Has no on-device controls or displays at all (aside from 3 LEDs that sorta-kinda indicate status in various ways); everything goes through awful Windows app. (It might be possible to run this under WINE, but I haven't tried.) Under Linux: Seems to work ok as printer (can't be sure without putting in new ink, and there's no way to tell it to clean the heads or do an alignment). Shows ink levels and test-page print function, but no other maintenance controls. Recognized as scanner, but won't actually scan. Probably more useful for parts, e.g. there's at least one full-color LED and of course the scan head & hardware.
