Main Recipe
Ingredients[1]
- 3 ounces almond oil, sweet
- 2 ounces jojoba oil
- 2.4 ounces avocado oil
- 3 ounces beeswax
- 20 drops Vitamin E
- 1 capsule [2] L-Lysine
- 1/8 teaspoon Vitamin C
Directions
Melt beeswax and oils in double-boiler. Stir in vitamins C and E and Lysine. Pour into chapstick tubes.
Variation
My sister once gave me some comfrey oil so I adjusted the recipe to include it:
- 2 ounces almond oil, sweet
- 1 ounce jojoba oil
- 1.4 ounces avocado oil
- 3 ounces comfrey infused olive oil
- 3 ounces beeswax
- 20 drops Vitamin E
- 1 capsule L-Lysine
- 1/8 teaspoon Vitamin C
