I recently heard about this young adult novel in which Schrödinger's cat and Pavlov's dog team up for a cross-country adventure...

...so I headed down to the library to see if they had a copy for my 10yo daughter.

The librarian said that my description rang a bell, but she wasn't sure if it was there or not.

Walks Into a Bar

  • A dyslexic man walks into a bra.
  • A horse walks into a bar and orders a pint. The bartender pours it one, but before handing it over, says, "Hey, you're in here a lot. Like...a LOT. Every day you get smashed. You think you might be an alcoholic?"
    The horse says, "I don't think I am..." And disappears in a poof.
    ...see, because, "I think therefore I am", and he didn't think he was and... y'know.
    Maybe I should've explained that first, but I didn't want to put Descartes before the horse.[8]
  • A jumper cable walks into a bar. The bartender says, "I'll serve you, but don't start anything."
  • A malapropism walks into a bar, looking for all intensive purposes like a wolf in cheap clothing, muttering epitaphs and casting dispersions on his magnificent other, who takes him for granite.[9]
