I agree... hense, my morning feeding pattern. They will, however, insist that they are STARVING before we leave at night and Bubba will believe them and leave food for the cats and the racoons and the opossom.

I prefer to feed them in the morning because if they are fed at night, their leavings are often taken by the night creatures. If fed in the morning, they have food all day (a fact of which they occasionally need to be reminded when they start squealing).
