Nick,
Cool... I saw you heading south on Danielsville getting down close to the on ramp for the loop. I was thinking that you were getting an awfully early start. Had I thought a little further I think I would have realized that you probably go left out of the driveway to get to NC.
I don't have my stuff with me so I can't give you specifics on the cable bill at this minute. It is not, however, one of those "drop dead" dates that you have to do on a certain day... It's like that you have to pay $100 instead of the normal billing amount at the time you pay the February bill. The bill probably comes out the first but you can probably tell by the statements from the past what day they bill. Then... within a reasonable time frame... we should pay the $100. If I remember correctly, the billing time is the 5th and then we have a couple of days leeway after that.
I believe I wrote down the information and put it in with the other cable bills that I had in the folder for reference when I talked to them. I gave that folder to you... not at a time we were talking about other bills or anything... so it is probably in there wherever you filed that folder...

Lynne, Could you please remind me what the deal was as far as making payments on the cable? I remember we had it written down on a blank piece of paper (probably I wrote it down from what you said out loud) and I put it in the cable folder -- but the folder with the bills in it wasn't there at the time, and I thought I had stuck it in the _other_ cable folder (the one with the tech info about the modem and such) -- but it's not there. I seem to recall that there's a payment due 2/1. As of today, we are closing in on being able to pay for the Mountain debit due to come out 2/2, but we are still about $5 short -- so obviously there isn't $100 lying around to give to the cable co. Not that there's anything you need to do about this; that's just the situation. I'm going downtown to make a deposit (which will bring us up to that $5-short level), just in case you arrive while I'm out (it's almost 8:30 a.m. now). Be right back... N. {[quoteoff}} |
