The tone of this message seems thickly sarcastic to me; my best interpretation is that Bubba for some reason heavily resented it whenever I was in North Carolina.

"Spun-ness" is a Lynne-and-Bubba term; someone who is really "spun" has a distorted or twisted view of the world.

Yes, I hear that the air in Durham is more conducive to better fluff and fold sessions. I also hear that it is better for things like toenail clipping, nosehair trimming and glove compartment cleaning so you might want to engage in any one or all or none of these activities whilst you're there.
