Text

I am Thy Constitution, That Thou Did Write, Ordain, and Establish in Thy Emancipation from Taxation Without Representation. You Shall Have No Other Laws Before Me.

  1. Thou Shalt Not Make Any Law Respecting an Establishment of Religion, or Prohibiting the Free Exercise Thereof; or Abridging the Freedom of Speech, or of the Press; or the Right of the People Peaceably to Assemble, and to Petition the Government for a Redress of Grievances.
  2. Thou Shalt Not Infringe the Right of Thy Citizens to Procure Equipment and Supplies for Self-Defense, be that against Thyself, Domestic Turmoil, or Foreign Invasion.
  3. Thou Shalt Not Quarter Thy Troops in the Homes of Thy Citizens, Neither in Peacetime Nor in Time of War, Without the Consent of the Owner and in a Manner Prescribed by Law.
  4. Thou Shalt Not Subject Thy Citizens to Unreasonable Search or Seizure.
  5. Thou Shalt Not Accuse Any of Thy Citizens of a Capital or Otherwise Infamous Crime, Unless on a Presentment or Indictment of a Grand Jury; Neither Shalt Thou Put Any Person in Jeopardy of Life or Limb Twice for the Same Offence; Nor Shalt Thou Compel Any Person in Any Criminal Case to be a Witness Against Himself; Nor Shalt Thou Deprive Any Person of Life, Liberty, or Property, Without Due Process of Law; Nor Shalt Thou Take Private Property for Public Use Without Just Compensation.
