Mel

Mel is Sandy's eldest son, from marriage #1.

• 2009-06-06 Mel's training is almost complete, and he has orders for the USS Peleliu, reporting no later than July 20
• 2008-11-03 first letter received (mostly a form letter, but Mel scribbled a note at the end)
  • Mel is on the USS Kearsarge (see also Wikipedia)
• 2008-10-28 leaving for a 5-year stint in the US Navy today
• 2006-05 Graduated from Earlham College
