The balance looks ok for the weekend -- about $200. There are a few more pending transactions which will bring it down to about $130 when they come through. We managed to avoid any new NSFs since 8/7.

As I told Bubba, working on The Big Balancing Act is my top near-term priority -- but some immediate things are likely to take precedence until I can get through them.

Thanks,

N.

Status: the balance is positive again, though only barely. However, there are still debits in the queue, and they will bring it down to -$127 if no additional deposits are made.

I need some time this evening or in the morning to go over the figures in this email in conjunction with my numbers...the bank statement and the online thing, once I have time to work that through. I think we need to sit down and go over things together, once I've had a chance to look at these things. I deposited $150.00 before 2:00 today, so there is not a problem with the balance for tomorrow. We definitely need to get clear on where we are so that we can move forward with the next order or two. It doesn't look good to let them get too old.

Nick,

I think I know where yer at. I have an idea. It seems like that between what you are having to do before you can clear things up and with us having to do the loft thing, and the GCEH thing and the Provider Meeting in Atlanta [ALL IN THIS WEEK] ... it is probably going to be 10 days before the dust settles. The phone bills are due this week and we need to put in another order or two for shirts... We will have enough coming in and out to cover all of that...at least temporarily, if we can do the usual juggling. With access to the SunTrust Online thing... I should have no problem keeping the balance positive throughout the process if there are no surprises in the account. IE... if you use the BB&T acct for anything you are doing over the next 10 days... I can keep the phones on and cover the orders and we can balance out the money around the 3rd or 4th week of August. I'd like to get clarity on at least this month... before Sept 1st. Does that make sense to you?

I recommend not waiting for a face-to-face meeting to start settling up. Even when I am there for extended periods, meetings tend not to happen -- and I may not be there (and available) for an extended period anytime soon.

Phones: please email me a listing of the charges you believe Red House or I should take care of, going back as far as you like. (Maybe start with recent stuff and work your way back when you have time... or however you want to do it.) I'll let you know if I need to see the bills or if I have any questions, disagreements, etc.

Then I can include those items in the Balancing Act, credited to RDA.

"use the BB&T account" -- yes. The only times I use the ST card are under the following circumstances:

1. Purchase of business office supplies/eqpt, and only when I am reasonably certain there are funds to cover it

2. When I am on the other side of town (usually near Juliet's) and I need $20 so I can get lunch, and (again) only when I am certain there are funds (usually just after I've loaned RH more $ from my BB&T account).

I've been using BB&T for everything else -- pocket money, gas money, groceries, etc. This makes it a lot easier to be sure unexpected ST transactions belong to RDA (though I will reiterate that you should still send me a list of card usages -- we're rather behind on this...).

Thanks,

N.
