===Notes===
For the record, my point in sending it was this:
* '''point 1''': the Grievers ''repeatedly'' avoided putting anything substantial in writing as regards business arrangements and especially when such matters became disputed. Lynne had recently, as of this email, dismissed my request to put all financial figurings in writing (which were certainly a matter of dispute), and such dismissal was an ongoing theme.
* '''point 2''': When Lynne wanted more time to move out of Red House, she [[2002-08-31 SvsG emails|threatened to take legal action]] against Livia. A proper course of action would have been to ask me to ask her for more time, or at most to plead their case to Livia.
* '''point 3''': they made it clear that they were not happy with my attempts to discuss with others our business dealings; see, for example, repeated references to the "peanut gallery", and a very early reference to showing Livia that I knew how to whip the servants (or some such).
Bubba's reply is dismissive, irrelevant, and devoid of substance except for his almost-denial of point #1.
I should have replied and raised all of these points at the time, but I was too angry, depressed, and busy to do so coherently.

Yeah in a setting of purported activity like this he's right, and I think he's not talking about us.  To my knowledge I've never done any of this.
Point 1 Nothing in writing - Never said I wouldn't or that company/my personal policy shouldn't.
Point 2  Litgation or Threat of such - Are you suing me or threatening to sue me?
Point 3 Gagging Policy - How is this relevant?
What was your point in sending it?

Staddon vs. Griever: SvsG Messages: 2002

Notes

The Robert Fripp link is no longer good, and archive.org didn't have the appropriate entry archived. However, the complete diary entry (2002-04-08) is quoted here. The diary entry was apparently based on an earlier (1999-03-24) article by Fripp, Business Aims.
