prefix conventions

  • BAG: some things just don't fit nicely in a box
  • BKS: container of mostly/entirely books, but not sure whose
  • FURN: loose items of furniture
  • INV: general / uncategorized
  • LAN: networking equipment
  • LCD: LCD monitors
  • LEGO: boxes with just Lego in them
  • MEH: items removed from The Tidy and Well-Organized Files of Mrs. Kenneth Daland Hall
  • MEL: Mel's stuff boxed by Woozle
  • MPO: Mel's posters
  • MRW: Mel's stuff boxed by Mel, found on wall shelves in Mel's room
  • PC: computer equipment
  • SLH: stuff of interest/significance primarily to Harena
  • SPKR: loudspeakers
  • STOR: formerly non-inventoried boxes which have been repurposed for inventory (see also)
  • SUPP: boxes containing supplies
  • PPW: boxes containing mostly old paperwork (dead files)
  • PLA pre-labeled, series A (the "series" is in case I run into other pre-labeled boxes with a different numbering system)
  • SS: castoffs from Sage & Swift
  • TOYS: boxes full of toys
  • VBZ: VBZ-related material, but not stock
  • VHS: boxes containing only VHS tapes
