Preface

Maybe this information should go on a separate page, but a group of domain transfer requests arrived via email on 7/24:

• redistribution.org
• new2ugolf.com
• thejandj.com
• rugratzone.com

Particularly odd is the request for thejandj.com, since we had already discussed it and Bubba had agreed to leave it in my hands. I denied that one and let the rest through.

Lynne,

I haven't heard anything from you about when the storage fee is due, so I went ahead and deposited it in the RDA account today ($150). I see from my records that the last deposit was June 30, and today being July 30 that would seem to be in order.

I also haven't heard anything about how you want to handle moving the Benz... I will tentatively be in Athens on Aug. 8 to do some work for Carrier, and that will probably be a good time for me to deal with it. If that is not a good time for you, please let me know when would be better.

I will need to get the key from you when I move it, or before if possible.

Ok, yeah, she had mentioned about the person at Neff getting more strict and wanting the payment the week before; this was an unintentional lapse on my part. If Lynne had said something concrete like "it is due on the 25th", I would have remembered. Given all the stuff I've had to repeat over and over to her, though, I don't feel too bad.

It looks like you have a ringmaster number, 706.227.0628, on the 0474 line. If you want to keep that number, you'll need to move it over to a line that's not going to be cancelled.

Probably nothing will happen before Monday, but I am trying to get 0474 transferred to another service and when that happens any features attached to that account (ringmaster and internet are the ones I know about) will disappear. (The transfer is currently in a red tape quagmire.)

I never was able to get the number transferred because folks at Hull Road kept running up the toll-call charges faster than I could pay them. I finally had to just cancel the account, which (for reasons unclear to me) meant I could no longer transfer the number. I was left owing $450 on that account, which of course I have added to the RDA's bill.
