Transcribed from a printout dated 1999-05-30
- 1 cup white flour
- 1/2 cup salt
- 2 tbsp cream or tartar
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- (food coloring, optional)
Mix all ingredients together cold in sauce pan. Turn on medium heat and stir constantly until it pulls into a mass (it will become difficult to stir near the end). Turn it out onto counter and knead briefly until smooth.
Note: If it turns out sticky, there's too much flour. If it seems dry, try kneading in a little more oil.
