Frank Gregory Hall (1896-1967) was Harena's granddaddy (Ken Hall's dad), and the namesake of the FG Hall Environmental Laboratory (2010 site) at Duke, later part of the Duke Hyperbaric Center which is now (2025) part of Duke Center for Hyperbaric Medicine and Environmental Physiology. He also financed and orchestrated construction of the house at 122 Pinecrest Road.
