There's this ongoing problem where a few artists become fabulously rich while most others end up having to pay for the privilege of creating art. It seems to me that there should be more of a middle ground, where most artists who work hard and produce reasonable product could at least make a basic living from creating art.
This idea was one of the reasons I originally started my online store (now vbz.net), but circumstances pushed me away from working on that issue. I'd like to start getting back to it.
