"Bubba" is Willard Dale Griever, aka Bubba Gee or Bahb Haaji, one of the defendants in Staddon vs. Griever.
He apparently died on 2025/04/17, after a multi-year battle with cancer. My feelings are mixed, but... I wouldn't wish cancer even on my worst enemy, and I'm sorry it ended that way for him. (-W.)
