It's not clear whether this was marketed as "TASCAM" or "TEAC". I've been calling it "TASCAM" (possibly because the large text on the take-up reel always jumped out at me?), but it clearly says "TEAC" on the head enclosure. On the other hand, right below that it says "TASCAM SERIES".
