The International Conspiracy of Mad Scientists (ICMS) started life in ~1997 as a vague idea for a global community of geeks who would figure out how to make the world work better.
It has gone through various incarnations and has existed as a wiki site since 2010. I had planned to make it an interactive forum, but software limitations have postponed that.
History
I registered the domain "iseeamess.com" (since icms.* was taken) on December 25, 2001 (4 or 5 years before creating Issuepedia), finally attaching it to a web site in ~2010, which means that it probably holds my personal record for Longest Delay Between Registering the Domain and Actually Building the Site.
