[[category:events]]The [[Smith Family Reunion]] (also known as the Smith Family Gathering) is an annual Summer event in which all the descendants of the late Avery Smith plus "adopted Smiths" gather at a predetermined location for approximately 3 days of socializing, fun, and mutual entertainment.

"Adopted Smiths" can include stepchildren, spouses (even if now divorced from the "official Smith" by which they first entered the fold), and even [[Hypertwin]]s with no legal relation to any "official Smith".
