We found the new location of Saladelia! Before the Great Viral Plague of 2020-?, we used to meet StringThing there every other Sunday. It's actually a little closer to where we live -- right next to Konrad Automotive, to/from which I've walked many times.
I made a little progress on the HubCat SSL mystery: my virtual-domain-tester script now verifies that everything is working properly except for Certbot failing to detect the verification file. So tomorrow morning I need to try running it manually with some debugging options, and hopefully figure out WTF is going on.
