2017/02/bookshelf

Bookshelf I built in February 2017. It's the twin for one I built several years ago, on the other side of the dormer window, but with deeper shelves and anchoring at the bottom as well as the top.

The completed shelf. This came out blurry; don't bother clicking through. I'll have to get a better pic later when we've dealt with the clutter in front of it. The bottom two shelves are VHS tapes, mostly home-recorded; not sure what to do with them. I have this fantasy of going through them to snarf any amusingly dated commercials or other slices-of-life from the 1980s and 1990s.

The hardback shelves (click through for more detail) – very higgledy-piggledy after being in stuffed into boxes (by someone other than me, without my supervision) sometime in ~2001. The magazine shelves – mostly Analog, a lot of Fantasy & Science Fiction and Galaxy, and a few Asimov's (including the first half-dozen or so issues), Worlds of IF, and a few oddities
