Dear Ms. Hall:
Thank you for contacting BB&T E-Mail Support to inquire about viewing check images.
BB&T OnLine will provide you the option of viewing available check images that have posted to your account during the previous 60 days.
To view a specific check image, complete the following steps in BB&T OnLine:
1. Click on the Accounts tab from the Summary page.
2. Select Account History from the gray area under the Accounts tab.
3. Select Check from the drop-down box beside Transaction Type.
4. Click on the check number or the check icon beside the check number you wish to view. If the check icon does not appear in the Description field, an image is not available. A check image may not be available for converted checks, electronic check purchases, damaged, or destroyed checks.
5. The check image will be displayed in a separate window.
As a reminder, check images are available for 60 days only. If the desired check is over 30 days old but less than 60 days old, you may enter a specific date range in the From and To boxes beside your account number.
In addition, you may print or save the check image from the check image window. To print the image, select Print from the top left or lower center of the check image window.
To save the image to a file on your computer, select Save Instructions from the top left of the check image window and follow the steps. The front and back of the check image must be saved separately.
Please note that selecting Save As from the File menu in Internet Explorer will not save the check image.
To close the check image window, select Close Window from the top left or lower center of the check image window.
