I think this is the house Livia and I were considering buying in 1991. (tax record)

From what I remember: This was an older place in a sort of iffy area of town. The asking price was, I think, $72k ($136,372 in 2020 dollars). Some research revealed that the place had last been sold for something like $39k. We figured $72k was a bit high, so we offered $69k. They declined, and apparently sold it for more than the asking price.

I looked it up just now (2020-02-18), and it was last sold in 2018 for $337,500.

The neighborhood hasn't changed significantly; still mostly the same houses, same density, same demographic as far as I can tell.
