This template may be used when the recipient has default redirects from the given domain and wishes to be able to block any spam sent by web-scraper bots. The "mailto" address changes every day, so any address which gets picked up by such bots can be blocked without blocking current email sent by humans (there tends to be a significant lag between when addresses get scraped and when they begin being used.) Only the year is shown in the displayed address because (a) it is better stealthed, by use of an HTML entity for the "@" symbol and bolding of the ".", and (b) the visible address is more likely to be copied by hand and hence should be as short and friendly as possible. --Woozle 08:19, 23 Sep 2005 (EDT)
