TMI is an acronym standing for "Too Much Information". Inexplicably, Wikipedia does not have a page explaining this particular usage, so I will have to:

The phrase "too much information" (often said as simply "TMI") is used to indicate when someone is giving you more information than you are prepared to cope with, or (more specifically) whose excessively personal nature causes you mental discomfort.
