It's sort of the "personal" face, the less-formal, more social angle of what I've been trying to do through [[Issuepedia]]; I'm thinking that it may end up hosting my deployment of [[issuepedia:InstaGov|InstaGov]], among other things.

The International Conspiracy of Mad Scientists (ICMS) started life in ~1997 as a vague idea for a global community of geeks who would figure out how to make the world work better.

It has gone through various incarnations, currently culminating in a wiki-forum site whose key feature, InstaGov, is still under development, so I'm not making much noise about it yet.

I registered the domain "iseeamess.com" (since icms.* was taken) on December 25, 2001 (4 or 5 years before creating Issuepedia), finally attaching it to a web site in ~2010, which means that it probably holds my personal record for Longest Delay Between Registering the Domain and Actually Building the Site.
