Daisy's alternator died on the way to The Regulator Bookshop. We made it there and most of the way back, but the engine finally stalled out just short of the top of the hill where Duke University Road meets Wannamaker Drive. Zander walked from home and brought water, and eventually walked Harena home while I waited for the tow truck (which was a snafu-story all unto itself).
Daisy's transmission chose this hill to die on.
