Nothing much exciting today... just reclaiming a path that got overgrown this year for various reasons (including a yellowjacket nest just off the path a little way back from where I'm standing while taking these pictures). This is mostly in the right-of-way under the electric wires, which I think they're due to come clear out again any year now (they've done it twice before while I've been here).
It occurred to me, as I was doing this, that as a kid I liked to rake paths through the woods (an autistic thing, maybe?) and that this is kind of the same thing, only more industrial-strength.
All the clearing is done with an electric mower (about two decades old) and a hand-saw.
