Note that this email indicates that Bubba had not in fact placed the order he had told me yesterday he could place, no problem. He doesn't apologize for the lapse (even though I had emphasized the importance of getting it placed), but merely excuses it as a fortuitous delay ("the universe knows"). My statement that "it's probably ok" was an attempt to make lemonade out of lemon, as I really would have preferred that the order had been placed on time.

I'll try to place it via cell phone as I'm gonna be tied up w/lofts till at least 5. I'll print it when I get home tomorrow and place it on Wed.
